Jupiter Rising will be held in the iconic landscape of Jupiter Artland, near Wilkieston, West Lothian.

From 2pm, access via SOUTH GATE (main Jupiter Artland entrance, EH27 8BY)

After 5pm, all vehicle access is via NORTH GATE (EH53 0HT). No vehicles (including taxis) can access via South Gate. Please use this postcode EH53 0HT in your sat nav or map app.

Access is via a single track road so please drive with care. Passing places are sign-posted along the track.


Parking: Upon arrival, please follow signs for the main carpark. A parking permit is £5. If you have not booked one of these along with your ticket, please pick one up at the Box Office and place it on your dashboard.

*For those being dropped off/collected, please use the designated area located by the Box Office and signposted.

Live-in Vehicles: Upon arrival, please follow signs for the live-in vehicle area. A live-in vehicle permit is £5. If you have not booked one of these along with your ticket, please pick one up at the Box Office and place it on your dashboard.

By Bus from Edinburgh: Two different bus companies operate services from Edinburgh City Centre direct to Jupiter Artland with a journey time of approx. 25 minute: Lothian Country Bus and First Bus.

If taking the bus from outside Waverley Station, please be aware that Lothian Country Bus departs from one stop and First Bus departs from another. It can be confusing – so check the display screen at your bus stop to check whether it is a Lothian Country Bus Stop or a First Bus stop.

Number x27 Lothian Country bus service runs between Edinburgh and Jupiter Artland (Bathgate Route). Closest stop Coxydene/ Jupiter Artland. The last bus departs Jupiter Artland at 00.30 on Friday and Saturday.

Closest stop Coxydene/ Jupiter Artland. The last bus for Edinburgh departs Jupiter Artland bus stop at 23.26 on Friday and Saturday.

By Taxi from Edinburgh: From Edinburgh, a taxi journey costs approx. £20 - £25 and can be shared with friends!

By Train from Glasgow, Dundee or further afield: The nearest train station is Kirknewton. Jupiter Artland is a 30 min walk from this train station, or a 5 min taxi ride.

There is a more regular service to North Livingston. We recommend calling All The Fours (01506 444444) to book a local taxi to take you from North Livingston to Jupiter Artland.

National Cycle Route: Jupiter Artland is close to the Sustrans Route 75. Follow the route until the B7015 at East Calder. Head east along that road for 1.5 miles - the Jupiter Artland entrance will be on the left. There is a bike rack in the disabled car park.

Check In: Once parked, or if you arrive on foot, head to the Box Office (next to carpark and live-in vehicle area), let the team know your name(s) and you will be given your weekend wristband.

If you have prebooked a carpark or live-vehicle permit, please pick the permit up from the Box Office and place it on your dashboard. You can also pick up a printed programme which will include details about the event and a festival map.


**Please note: Box Office opening hours are:

FRIDAY > opens at 2pm, closes at 10pm

SATURDAY > opens at 10am, closes at 6pm

***Those arriving on site when the Box Office is closed will need to ring a mobile number to get their wristband.

***The mobile number will also be used for any queries related when the Box Office is not open.
