GETTING HERE

Jupiter Rising will be held in the iconic landscape of Jupiter Artland, near Wilkieston, West Lothian.

BY CAR

Cars must enter the festival site via the entrance on Clifton Road. The postcode for this entrance is EH53 0HT. For those who are familiar with the Jupiter Artland site, this is the road that traffic normally exits from.

Upon arrival, please follow signs for the main carpark. A parking permit MUST HAVE BEEN BOUGHT IN ADVANCE. If you have not booked one of these along with your ticket you will have to use a local bus service. Please pick up your parking permit at the Box Office and place it on your dashboard.

LIVE-IN VEHICLES

Live-in vehicles must enter the festival site via the entrance on Clifton Road. The postcode for this entrance is EH53 0HT. For those who are familiar with the Jupiter Artland site, this is the road that traffic normally exits from.

Upon arrival, please follow signs for the live-in vehicle area. A live-in vehicle permit MUST HAVE BEEN BOUGHT IN ADVANCE. Please pick up your parking permit at the Box Office and place it on your dashboard.


BY BUS FROM EDINBURGH

The X27 Lothian Country bus service runs between Edinburgh and Jupiter Artland. The closest stop is Coxydene/Jupiter Artland and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes from the city centre. Pedestrians can access the festival site from our South Gate on the B7015 - this is a 2 minute walk from the bus stop. For those who are familiar with the Jupiter Artland site, this is normal entrance gate. The walk from here to the festival site is 0.3 miles via a tarmac road.

The last bus departs Jupiter Artland at 11.40PM on Friday and Saturday evenings.


BY TAXI FROM EDINBURGH

From Edinburgh, a taxi journey costs approx. £20 - £25 and can be shared with friends!

Please arrange to meet your driver in the designated Taxi Drop Off area at the pedestrian entry/exit gate (South Gate) on the B7015.


BY TRAIN FROM GLASGOW, DUNDEE OR FURTHER AFIELD

The nearest train station is Kirknewton. Jupiter Artland is a 30 min walk from this train station, or a 5 min taxi ride.

There is a more regular service to North Livingston. We recommend calling All The Fours (01506 444444) to book a local taxi to take you from North Livingston to Jupiter Artland.


NATIONAL CYCLE ROUTE

Jupiter Artland is close to the Sustrans Route 75. Follow the route until the B7015 at East Calder. Head east along that road for 1.5 miles - the Jupiter Artland entrance will be on the left. There is a bike rack in the disabled car park.


CHECK IN

If arriving in a car, you will come to the box office on your way to the car park via the Clifton Road entrance. Let the box office member of staff know your name(s) and you will be given your festival wristband. Follow the directions of staff to the car park where you can park, unload and make your way to the campsite!

If arriving on foot, via bus or taxi, or you are being dropped off, please stop at the pedestrian box office on your way to the festival site, located approx. 100m after the pedestrian entry gate (South Gate) on the B7015. Let the box office member of staff know your name(s) and you will be given your festival wristband. Follow the directions of staff to the festival site and make your way to the campsite!
