Natasha Lall

Currently based in Berlin, Natasha Lall is a multidisciplinary artist with a background in sound art. Often working with cheap materials, homemade sets and a camera phone, Lall performs to explore their deepest fantasies without having to leave their comfort zone. With a focus on self-care and preservation, Lall’s practice captures a unique sense of humour, charisma and informality.

Lall has given academic papers and talks on queer politics in the world of sound and music. Presentations include a talk on her novella SQUELCH (2017) at The Women’s Library, Glasgow, and a paper entitled ‘Brown Girls in the Club’ (2017) at Sonic Cyberfeminisms, Lincoln University.

Recent works include a feature length film ‘Pink Excavation’ (2018), exhibited at CCA, Glasgow and the score book ‘Scores For Sissy Bois’ performed at venues including ICA, London.
