Mandy McIntosh

Artist Mandy McIntosh trained as a knitwear designer and worked at KENZO in Paris in the late 80s early 90s. She is still hugely influenced by fashion as a behaviour and accessible practice for all, fuelled by her addiction to magazines. This workshop will involve direct actions on archival/found garments, cutting, pinching, augmenting, painting, printing and restitching, all styled to make a bleeding edge new collection. Mandy is donating key pieces from her own collection, come and choose something to work on, and wear it home. All materials and solid styling advice included.Hair and make up OPTIONAL. Limited capacity of 13 people so arrive early if you want to take part!
