DEAN RODNEY JR
Dean Rodney Jr is a prolific writer and musician that describes his music as a mix between hiphop and pop. Over the past two years whilst being at home in lockdown Dean wrote and recorded 54 albums, describing a fictional alternative version of the present day, Dean TV World.
In Dean TV World we encounter characters such as Bro Bro Man, an Easter island Statue, Genesis, a TV presenter of Dean TV and Kaden, a video game extraordinaire, all set against a backdrop of exhilarating basslines and compulsively danceable drumbeats.
Dean plays with a backing band which he calls his Cowboys, featuring members of Ravioli Me Away, Design a Wave, Clémentine March and Cafe Oto resident space-trumpet player and world renowned inclusive conscious promoter Robyn Rocket.
Dean has been making music since he was a teenager. He was a member of the legendary band The Fish Police who toured globally and is supported by Heart n Soul, a creative arts organisation who believe in the power and talents of people with learning disabilities and autistic people.
