Auntie Flo invites his fellow Highlife buddy, Andrew Thomson who also runs the Huntleys + Palmers label and Clyde Built Radio.

As a promoter and label owner over the past 15 years, Andrew has worked with many emerging artists during the early point of their career and has been responsible for introducing many new artists to Glasgow and the UK for the first time, including the likes of Helena Hauff, Lena Willikens, Oni Ayhun and rRoxymore. He has also released the first ever records by SOPHIE, Auntie Flo, Mehmet Aslan and many others.

This has led to many invitations to DJ around the world including extensive tours around Latin & North America, Asia, Australia and contributions to many well known mix series including Boiler Room, HÖR, Dekmantel, Crack, etc.

During these travels, Andrew has also visited many like minded community radio stations and felt the Glasgow scene could benefit from a similar platform to both showcase the abundance of local talent and create a neutral cultural space that would encourage interaction from across the music and arts community. In 2020, Clyde Built Radio was born and continues to do just that.
